A large portion of the cast of The Umbrella Academy gathered for Netflix’s Geeked Week on June 6 to stir up hype for the upcoming third season.

Aidan Gallagher (Five), Justin H. Min (Ben), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castaneda (Diego), and newcomer Genesis Rodriguez, who plays the Sparrow Academy’s Sloane, gathered for a panel hosted by Felicia Day. They dug into details about season three, dropping tantalizing hints and coy nods to the upcoming action, and answered fan questions about their endlessly entertaining characters.

One such question was posed to Raver-Lampman, whose character — Allison, or Number Three — has experienced quite a bit of heartache over the last two seasons. After getting her throat cut and temporarily losing the ability to speak, Allison spent season two not only miles — and decades — away from her daughter, but also trapped as a Black woman in 1960s Dallas. It was a fascinating rewrite of real history, but it was immensely hard on Allison.

Headed into season three, Allison has quite a bit of healing to do. With this in mind — alongside the huge amount of fighting that will inevitably follow — one fan directed a question about strength Raver-Lampman’s way. While it’s almost inarguable that Allison is one of the strongest (and most stable) members of the Umbrella Academy, emotionally speaking, the question of who the strongest fighter is still stands. Luther is clearly the strongest physically, but that doesn’t mean he’s set to devastate in a super-powered fight.

The award for “Most Powerful Character” goes to Lila, according to Raver-Lampman. The character, introduced in season two, has the ability to absorb powers, setting her apart from the rest of the cast. While she does need to be in close(ish) proximity to do so, Raver-Lampman accurately notes that “you’re always going to be matched by your equal if you go up against her.”

Lila’s “chamelon” character is certainly a force to be reckoned with, but she doesn’t boast the most impressive power on the team, if you ask other members of the cast. Earlier in the interview, both Hopper and H. Min put in their votes for the strongest Umbrella Academy character, and they didn’t land on Lila.

In fact, both actors believe it is Allison who boasts the lofty title. They noted that her ability to influence the mind — with only the four simple words “I heard a rumor” — is far more powerful than Lila’s, or anyone else’s, ability. While Lila can mimic this power when in close proximity to Allison, she doesn’t have the control over it that Allison does, and she must be nearby to use it. Allison can harness this ability whenever she wants, to get whatever she wants, and that is nothing to shake a stick at.

It remains to be seen which of the Umbrella Academy cast is correct in their assessment of power levels. Perhaps we’ll get an answer in season three, which is set to drop on Netflix June 22, 2022.

Aidan Gallagher (Five), Justin H. Min (Ben), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castaneda (Diego), and newcomer Genesis Rodriguez, who plays the Sparrow Academy’s Sloane, gathered for a panel hosted by Felicia Day.. David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Number Five. Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves. Genesis Rodriguez as Sloane, Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves, Cazzie David as Jayme, Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves, Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves, Christopher, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, Jake Epstein as Alphonso, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Britne Oldford as Fei. Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves. One such question was posed to Raver-Lampman, whose character — Allison, or Number Three — has experienced quite a bit of heartache over the last two seasons.. While it’s almost inarguable that Allison is one of the strongest (and most stable) members of the Umbrella Academy, emotionally speaking, the question of who the strongest fighter is still stands.. While Lila can mimic this power when in close proximity to Allison, she doesn’t have the control over it that Allison does, and she must be nearby to use it.

If you’re new to The Umbrella Academy , welcome.. If you’re already a fan of the series, welcome back as we rank The Umbrella Academy powers from least to most powerful.. But in The Umbrella Academy , super-strength can only take him so far.. Though Luther is strong—really strong—he doesn’t have the flexibility in his powers that some of the other Umbrella Academy members have.. Plus, compared to other Umbrella Academy members who can attack with more than physical force, Diego’s power just pales in comparison.

The universe gets a major reset in the Umbrella Academy Season 3 finale , and it looks like this was Reginald Hargreeves’ (Colm Feore) plan all along.. But in the new world, Abigail is back, and they’re in charge of everything.. “If [the universe is] reset, and it's these Umbrellas, then surely Ben would be the old Ben.. But then Reginald kills Klaus before they head to Hotel Oblivion, claiming it was for his own good because he knew Klaus would find the afterlife.. “I think the newness of Klaus’ power, having conquered it recently, feels like a new lease on life.. Sparrow Ben never quite figures out how to fit in with the Umbrella Academy members — but deep down, it looks like he really wants to.. “Ben is already grappling with who he is outside of the Sparrow Academy, which starts to happen towards the end of the season with a lot of his siblings disappearing, Sloane getting married to the Umbrellas, and Sparrow Academy disbanding,” Min explains.. Ben does storm off from the rest of the group in the final moments of the finale, but Min has hopes Ben will eventually find some happiness.. Also, “Why is Five still a kid?” Hopper questions.

Image Via Entertainment WeeklyAs a character, Luther didn’t really do it for me but that could very well change next week when I binge the whole show for a couple of hours straight, but as it stands right now, he’s one of the weaker characters.. What I really liked about Diego were his relationships with Detective Patch and Grace.. Patch was a detective that Diego had a past relationship with and who he would bump heads with when he would sneak on her crime scenes.. Image Via Entertainment WeeklyThe only reason why Allison is so low on the list is because I feel like we only got a tiny taste of Allison Hargreeves.. So for those reasons she doesn’t use her power in the season at all besides in flashbacks and trying to use it on Vanya.. He accidentally time travels one day and gets stuck in the aftermath of the apocalypse.. Even though he’s hardened and mean at times, he truly cares for his family.. She earns this spot because of the potential I know this character can reach, the importance of her character to this coming season (not saying the others aren’t important), and the hope I have for her.. I really hope this season she is able to apologize to her siblings for destroying the world they knew.. Or maybe Vanya isn’t even the cause of this one and uses her power to help out.. Image Via Entertainment WeeklyFor the second spot on the list, I had to give it to my good boy Ben!. A quick shot in the trailer showed Ben being able to interact with the world.. He opened and closed a car door, and runs into Klaus to fight playfully on the ground.. Image Via Entertainment WeeklyAnd the best Hargreeves sibling is Klaus!. He is one of the most powerful of his siblings and I hope he has the chance to show that.

To me most powerful means who would have the greatest impact on the world as a whole because of their powers.. I still just don’t see the power being anywhere near as useful as the other six powers.. I’m basing this ranking on only the show’s depiction of their powers, not the comic book one, so there may be more to Diego’s powers than we’ve seen, but right now, he has the least impressive power.. I’ll admit when I first watched The Umbrella Academy Season 1, when Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman)’s power was revealed, it seemed kind of like a useless power until I realized how powerful it could be to completely influence someone just by saying “I heard a rumor that.” Allison used her powers to completely erase Vanya’s memory of her own powers, and that’s insanely powerful.. After The Umbrella Academy revealed that Vanya had powers, she became like a Swiss Army Knife of powers.. What’s more powerful than someone who seems to have unlimited power potential?. Having the power to travel through time cancels out every other power, because time traveling abilities allows the person with them to manipulate events.. Let us know by voting below who you think has the most powerful power, and let’s all start counting down the days until The Umbrella Academy returns.

After the universe resets, Luther, Klaus and Diego, Viktor and Five, as well as Sparrow Ben, leave the hotel, Luther is still alive, Five has two arms and Diego all his fingers, and Diego has two.. Sparrow Academy Umbrella Academy Season 3 Ending Explained The Sparrow Academy lost a lot of its members in Season 3.. Sloane’s character could be explained by the fact that the Sparrows don’t exist on this timeline.. The Umbrella Academy.. (L to R) Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy.. Then there is Luther.. Power Back ?. We don’t know much about Reginald, but he towers over the Umbrella Academy and, by proxy The Umbrella Academy .. It could be, like so many other Umbrella Academy things!
